Cliché's, Gags, Bad Manners, and a Donkey
bousozoku9 March 2017
What can you expect from a movie where one of the characters is named Leño? Everything Los Angeles and Chicano is what you should expect, except maybe for the blue and the red.

Noah Gugliemi and Pablo Santos are central in this crazy film about a party where East LA meets Beverly Hills. What would you do with a big empty house? Throw a party! The characters aren't so different from people I know in Northern California but the donkey was more of a SoCal thing.

Of course, there are the sexual bits, the surprised neighbors, the smoking, the food, some unusual use of electricity, and a small donkey that isn't a burrito.

It's House Party for Chicanos.

Warning: Spoilers
Robert and Ceaser are two Latinoes who just want to have a party when they're mistaken for the house painters of a house party, homes. That's the story in a nutshell, or a Mexican jumping bean, if you prefer. I could tell you about the taco humping, the rape by a donkey, the self cum swallowing, the pregnant girl's water breaking and some esse drinking it, or any other of the "highlights", but I suspect that it would be a waste of breath and would fall on deaf ears anyway. So I'll just say that the total ineptitude of the whole production will leave you laughing in sheer disbelief that you got sucked into watching something so bad if nothing else.

Eye Candy: Radha Nilia gets topless, as do 3 or 4 extras

My Grade: D

Where I saw it: Starz on Demand (available until October 13th, 2005)

This Movie is so bad, I laughed my eyeballs out.

This movie is a school-example of a terrible movie, that is just so bad you can't stop laughing.

Robert and Ceasar are two guys that find themselves in the opportunity to give this big party in a huge villa. They invite the most typical kind of friends (for a comedy), and the party gets loose. This is really where the laughing begins, the humor is in such a bad shape, you just can't imagine somebody made work out of this. And I must say, after 15 minutes, I just couldn't stop rolling over the floor.

I really think I'm gonna watch this movie, over and over again. Nobody should miss this terrible movie! Chapeau!

Recycled movie-jokes in a 21st cent cheech and chong barrio of L.A.
ngill4 July 2004
When passing by movies in the new releases section of the video store, often enough one will see a single movie such as "Party Animalz", nestled between Mystic River and Paycheck, as a single copy, between 40 copies of the latter. Normally, I wouldn't rent a movie like this, but the risk-free enjoyment of my blockbuster movie pass lets me spend some time, and zero money to evaluate a movie such as this... risk free.

The plot starts out simple enough.... without reason, which isn't too much of a problem. We just have to get our two main characters. Robert and Caeser into a part house. It isn't entirely believable, but I've seen plenty of similar things happen in L.A. The exaggeration pushes the envelope in order to allow humour to occur. It is nothing entirely original, but it has some new jokes, and enough funny Los Angeles barrio humour thrown in.

A lot of the jokes will be noticed from the Ice-Cube, American Pie, and Scary Movie movies, but they are recycled with a southern-California Hispanic twist. Burro Girl is hilarious. Indo and Leno are also extremely funny. There are plenty of nude shots to keep any male entertained, but most female viewers might only enjoy this movie if they are 'one of the guys.'

This is a decent movie considering its apparent lack of budget. It is nowhere near the excellence of Clerks, but this movie does a great job at being funny. Definitely a good movie to watch on a Saturday night with a bunch of guys, or when inebriated... in some form or another.
