Great look, very expressionistic and stylish. I love to see a short that doesn't look like everything else out there. Awesome acting, very real and unpretentious. Good writing, great dialogue. Also, I like the fact that the dialogue is used sparingly, a lot is conveyed through silence. "9:30" does a great job capturing Hollywood through the eyes of a backpacker from abroad. Well done! Can't wait for the feature. (if there's one?)

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this short film as one of the bonus feature of a DVD, "Undoing," featuring Sung Kang, the same guy who is doing the main character in this work. Though this is very short, it is actually my most favorite works among all works Sung has been involved. There aren't too much going on or I can even say nothing is going on, but you can't take your eyes off of it. It's not totally sick or healthy. It's somewhere in between. This may not make you feel happy, but unless you are really young, you would feel that you've been in the same mental state at some point in the past. Highly recommend for those who need to be reminded about where you have been before.
