The Alfred Hitchcock Hour

Edit

Miscellaneous

The mid-1930s Hollywood studio film shown in the judge's office has an extremely peculiar aspect ratio that is noticeably taller than it is wide. Aspect ratios in Hollywood were standardized by 1932 at 1.375 to 1 (that is, the projected image of any studio film would be 1.375 times wider than it is tall).

Boom mic visible

At approximately 4:33, the shadow of the boom mic can be seen on the wall while Miles is talking to Tod on the staircase.

Character error

In the courtroom scenes, the stenographer can frequently be seen not typing anything.
