For 3 years (1995-1998), around Mexico City took place a series of kidnappings perpetuated by The Arizmendi Family, lead by Daniel Arizmendi López, ''El Mocha-orejas" (The Ear-Chopper); nickname earned, due to the fact that in order to inflict pressure to the victim's family, they mutilated one of her/his ear, and send it to them so they can hurry-up and send the ransom. The end of this crime dynasty came to an end on August 17, 1998, ''El Mocha-orejas" was apprehended by the police.
And this movie covers up some of the kidnappings perpetuated by The Arizmendi Family, and some names where changed for obvious reasons; due to the fact that this movie was released during the year all of them were apprehended by the police...
