Animals that couldn't chew are at times shown chewing in certain scenes. This is most noticeable in the case of Magyarosaurus.
The program depicts many Theropod (carnivorous) dinosaurs with pronated hands (with their palms facing down or backwards). These dinosaurs were in fact incapable of turning their hands in such a way. In reality, they always had their palms facing each other -- similar to their present day relatives, birds.
Certain dinosaur names in the show got mixed up. Originally, the giant South American predatory dinosaur that resembles Giganotosaurus was not going to be specified, as the show's creators were not sure which animal its fossils belonged to. It was simply going to be called a member of the carcharodontosaurid group. However the narration erroneously calls it a Carcharodontosaurus, which actually lived in Africa. The same error involved the European plant eating dinosaur Rhabdodon, which is a member of the iguanodont group, but it's incorrectly called Iguanodon in the show, which was a different animal.
When the land crocodilian steals a Saltasaurus egg in the Alpha's Egg segment, the thing fuses halfway into its face. Because of this animation error, they mostly show us the other side of its head, but it is still noticeable.
In the Pod's Travels segment, when an animatronic model is filmed for Pod's head instead of a CGI dinosaur, clearly visible burrs, excess pieces of rubber can be noticed around his eyelids.
