Mostly based upon real life but it did have a little bit of fantasy.

The World of Tosh or in Swedish: "Sune och hans värld." This used to be one of my favorite cartoons when I was much younger, now nobody seems to remember this television series that aired almost 11 years ago. In Sweden you can still get the show on DVD on a Swedish web market. I'm not sure if you can still get it on the electronic stores but there should be some left.

NOTE: I might have forgotten a bit on the show and how the characters were but hopefully it's not bothering you for some false informations. No I'm not trolling it's what I only remember since it was a very long time I watched this plus I love animation.

The Characters Tosh (or Sune I prefer) is probably one of the most iconic characters when it comes to comedy for the family. He has a pretty odd family and even he a little bit. Sune the chick charmer that tries anything to win a girls or even a grown woman's heart. Rudolf the unlucky father that always gets misunderstood. Karin the calm mother that tries to make sure their family works good. Anna the annoying big sister that gets in trouble for her boyfriends. And of course Håkan the ****y little brother that always is lucky in troubling situations.

The setting and the show It was a show that took place somewhere in Europe, probably in Sweden since the characters are Swedish. It was mostly based upon real life that probably could happen to anyone. But it wasn't that low on creativeness the protagonist always imagined how he would find the girl of his dreams. Although the protagonist always seem to be interested only at girls. He tried everything to make sure he would win the girls heart. Not only the imagination from Sune but the comedy was good and sometimes even laughable at best but only a few episodes.

Episodes Speaking of episodes my favorite episode is probably the one when Sune tried to impress a girl that his family is totally weird. So funny and creative, but it's a shame that I don't remember the name of that episode. Mostly of the episodes were the same that Sune fell in love in someone and tries everything to win her heart. Although not all of them were the same, some of them has different plots.

Overall it was a good cartoon there's romance and comedy to have fun with. If only they made more episodes It would've been much nicer to see what's next Sune will do and try.

Side Notes. Although the show did have a few negative things that I don't like: The show would use only a few times profanity, and there's one episode where you probably should avoid to look at the end when Sune suddenly throw up and it's very disgusting to have on cartoon. If it wasn't for those things I would have given the show a 7.

A very underrated and funny series

I've always had a soft spot for The World Of Tosh. Next to the live-action Sune adaptations from the early 90's, I feel it captures the spirit of the books best. Sune is endearingly optimistic and tireless in his quest for girls. He always paints an unrealistic picture in his head of how he will win over a girl, but when push comes to shove things don't really go as smoothly as he first expects. He also cares a lot about his family, as crazy as they might be. The episode where he tries to help his dad fulfill his dreams but doesn't realize the horror he's causing him is a perfect demonstration of his wellmeaning, yet oblivious nature. I really like the dynamic he has with his two best friends Herman and Sophie. Herman is the nice, though somewhat cowardly guy while Sophie is the straightman who sometimes feels like she's talking to two bumbling nitwits.

The voice acting is excellent all around. Bevin Hansson captures Tosh's naivety to a tee, and Joakim Jennefors steals the show as the nice, but clumsy father Rudolf. Tintin Anderzon gives Karin a suitably relaxed voice, who unlike the rest of her family goes on rational thinking rather than impulse. Movie fans will also enjoy seeing veteran actor Lennart Jähkel as the neighbor Ragnar, who is hilariously lazy and lets his wife do all the work around home.

The artstyle isn't the most flashy, but I feel like that contributes to its charm. The dream sequences are well-animated and contain some funny visual humor.

Last but not least, there's the catchy and energetic intro, which gets me pumped up every time I hear it. The theme song alone gives me a huge flash of nostalgia.

10 years after this, we would get the disastrous live-action films with probably some of the worst miscasting I have ever seen. But thankfully we'll always have the memories.

One of my favourite show wch used to aired on Star One when I was a kid 12 yrs back from now, I still remember that iuse to watch this in morning & then use to go school.

I forgot Show name & tried many times to recall but wasn't lucky, I was randomly searching for old cartoon shows on Google & ended landing on Star one wiki then finally found this Show.

My fav character Tosh- a simple & innocent guy, have loyal friends and always tries to win over a girl's heart but fails & that beautiful Intro Song.
