The interior of Pierre's apartment is actually the director's sister's bedroom. The exterior is a real block of flats only ten minutes away from the director's house. The kitchenette in Pierre's apartment is actually downstairs, in the same house, but was incorporated as part of the same apartment through editor's sleight-of-hand.
In an interview, director Jaspreet Grewal has admitted that he missed his brother's entire wedding because he was busy on the production of the movie.
While guerrilla shooting Ricky's flashback scene featuring his brother, on Ilford High Street, a suspicious councillor thought the cast were real card sharps and so phoned the police. The scene in the stock room was shot at Grewal's former work place (a furniture store called Harrison Gibson).
