While working for CNN (and Headline News), Paula Zahn Now premiered in 2003. She would always greet her audience, then she would preview the content of the particular upcoming show. It was during the Iraq War, that Zahn had moved back to prime time, hosting a two-hour program labeled Live from the Headlines which offered continuing coverage of the war and other events. Anderson Cooper took over by early summer that year, and by September, Paula Zahn Now, premiered. The show continued until Zahn announced her resignation from CNN, on July 24, 2007, and the final episode aired on August 2, 2007.
