- There are woman hovercar drivers that wear sexy bikini outfits showing off their stomach and legs, including Jody Summer, Mrs. Arrow, Kate Alen and Princia Ramode.
Violence & Gore

- In race mode there are hovercar crashes in the race such as spin attacks on your enemies hovercars and crashing them, also you can run over landmines losing energy power. If you go off course you will crash and lose the race.
- In the winning TV interview with Black Shadow, Black Shadow will threaten the sports reporter with death although he doesn't actually kill him.
- Black Shadow on TV causes the buildings to be set on fire.
- In story mode there are numerous hovercar crashes and explosion and violence in the game. Captain Falcon crashes Black Shadows hovercar and is on fire.
- Samurai Goroh and his gang members surround Captain Falcon and threaten to to kill him with his samurai sword while his men use machine gun although they don't fire their guns.
- If Samurai Goroh loses the match against Captain Falcon, his hovercar will crash and explode behind him.
- At the power station Captain Falcon sees that John Tanaka is injured and the power station is on fire. He then drives in the damaged power station and sees Jody Summers injured and escapes with the power station exploding behind them. Afterwards John and Jody are safe from danger.
- While Captain Falcon confronts Black Shadow, Black Shadow captures Falcon and causes Blood Falcon to come out of Falcon. Blood Falcon plants a time bomb and puts Captain Falcon in his hovercar and makes it go fast. If Captain Falcon succeeds, then the time bomb will come off his hovercar and explode behind him.
- If Captain Falcon beats Black Shadow in the race, then Deathborn will shock Black Shadow and teleport him away.
- If Captain Falcon beats Deathborn then Deathborn will crash his hovercar into the lava.

- In the Japanese version of F-zero GX. The word "God" and "Hell" is used in the game.
- The word "God" and "Hell" has been censored in the North American release.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- When Captain Falcon goes into the bar, there are people and aliens drinking what appears to be alcohol although it's not clearly mentioned.
- Silver Neelsen at the bar begs Captain Falcon to be in the race and gambles money on Captain Falcon.
- In the Japanese version of the game Michael Chain tells the announcer that he drinks beer. This was later removed from the North American version.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- This F-zero game is known for being one of the most difficult and intense racing games for most players including Captain Falcon's story mode being very challenging. Also in the Grand Prix, the expert and master mode races being challenging as the player drives very fast and has to navigate through hairpin turns.
- The villains in F-zero GX including The Skull, Black Shadow and Deathborn many scare kids.
- The hovercar crashes and explosions in story mode and race mode may be scary for little kids.
