I saw this film at the Temecula film festival in one of the shorts presentations and it was wonderful. It has a wonderful plot, is well written, and definitely stood out as one of the most thoughtful and well produced shorts of the festival. I think it is a shame that it might be difficult for people to see outside of the festival circuit.
The story is about a demigod, Lillian, who is assigned to an "Earthly" occupation working for a company called Karma, Incorporated. Her office is a passageway between heaven and earth and she, as a demigod, is not allowed outside the boundaries of the office space. The other main character is a karmically challenged man, Scott, who seeks out Karma, Incorporated to find out why his luck is always turning against him. The two soon find love and several humorous scenarios ensue as Scott tries to injure his karma so that he can run back to Lillian and have her remove the karmic blemishes from his record before they are permanently logged.
Wonderful film, brilliantly acted by all.
