Mr. and Mrs. Common people have a holiday. They decide to have a picnic at the beach. Some apron string relatives who are visiting them with their infant Theo, take great pride and joy in the cute antics of their child wonder when he breaks dishes and creates general havoc. Mr. and Mrs. agree to take the baby to the beach with them while its parents go shopping. The baby covers himself with jam. Neely puts a clean suit on him. They get in the car, ready to start, when Neely remembers that he has forgotten his wallet. While he is in the house looking for it, the Mrs. goes to sleep and the baby takes the engine apart. Then the father of the child returns, picks up his offspring and reprimands Neely for letting his child play with machinery.
