Great Game!

This game is an improvement towards the past Mario Kart Games. This is pretty much an amazing game to play by yourself, and with friends. I've made a video about this game. Although, I'd rate this game now a 8/10 considering there are a couple flaws i've seen.

Also, an average score for me is a 5/10, so if you see a review from me that is a 5/10, it's an average film or game.

A Unique Mario Kart Game

This was my first Mario Kart game that I played. I love that there are two characters to one car.

Not my favorite GameCube game, but it's fairly good

My brother almost always beats me when we used to play this. Regardless, it's a fun game. The graphics are impressive for an old game. The characters are cool. There are many fun things about this game. Try it out for yourself! By yourself or with 1-3 more players!

Lives Up To Its N64 High Standard

The "Mario Kart" game for the Nintendo '64 system was easily one of the greatest multiplayer video games ever created for any system. As such, "Double Dash" for the Gamecube had a lot to live up to. Luckily, the game rises to the challenge and perhaps even surpasses the original.

Though the controls and even some of the courses are basically the same as the N64 version, the addition of multiple characters per "kart" is a welcome addition to the franchise. It didn't need much tweaking, but the game changed just enough to keep it from getting stale.

Overall, this is perhaps my favorite multiplayer game for the Nintendo Gamecube, with the possible exception of Super Smash Bros. If you start playing this game with a group of friends, you'll be hard-pressed to stop anytime soon!

A good game!

This game was really fun when I played it, and I like how you can have partner races and switch with the partner. I'm glad Nintendo is making these sequels! I want them to do Mario Tennis next, another thing is that it is a whole lot better than the one on the N64 and GBA, If you go to a movie rental place, rent it or buy it!

My favorite Mario Kart, even better than the DS one in my opinion!

Mario Kart: Double Dash is an excellent game, stunning graphics (back then), great music, and addicting Gameplay! So this game is my favorite in the series, why? Because I don't like the hand-held ones, they're not the same when you're playing on the TV, I don't care if the DS version has Wi-fi or the old courses, it doesn't beat Double Dash! The fact that I can play as Mario AND Luigi at the same time is so cool! Since there's two players in the same kart, it adds a bit more strategy, which I love. The only complaint about it is that playing by yourself can get boring fast, which is the same with all Mario Kart games, and will hopefully be fixed in the Wii version. The multiplayer is what KILLS me about this game, playing with your friends is SO much fun, it's a great party game! So overall, Mario Kart: Double Dash, I think is the best Mario Kart so far. Hopefully, the Wii version will be better, because it's not portable, it's for a home console, AND there's Wi-fi, AND it has the old courses, done better, AND the controls seem interesting. Anyways, if Mario Kart Wii turns out any better, this will still be my 2nd favorite Mario Kart. So if you've got a Wii/Gamecube and want a Gamecube game and don't have this? There's no reason why you shouldn't get this game, unless you don't like racing games, it's fantastic and a must-own Gamecube game.

this game is very great, its so much fun to play. The game play is very nice and its pretty easy. The characters are all so cool and its sweet how it matters what characters you select because every character has a different item and unique karts. It doesn't really matter much when you master the game, you can use any player.

I love playing the grand prix mode and unlocking all the things. Its very fun to play it a lot and unlock everything. When you first play the game, it can be a little hard but then its gets very easier and you get used to it more.

when im playing i like to use light weights because they go faster and have better handles. I mostly use koopa and paratroopa because i like their specials of 3 green and red shells. Another thing that is cool, is when you complete everything, you get to use the golden car and you get a new screen title. This game's amazing, definitely one of the best Mario games i've ever played!

Mario Kart Double Dash is a excellent sample of what you can do with a game if you work hard on it.

Mario Kart Double Dash is one of the greatest game ever made.

The game is just fun.

You get to play with two drivers at the same time.

The graphic in the game are just so awesome.

The Music is very well done.

The Voice acting is very good.

Mario Kart: Double Dash is one game that everybody would love.

Overall if you're looking for a game that is a whole lot of fun then Mario Kart: Double Dash is the game for you.

I give Mario Kart: Double Dash 10 out of 10.

The first GameCube game I have ever played and the first Mario Kart game I have ever played and in my opinion, the most underrated Mario Kart game and my personal favourite Mario Kart game (though Mario Kart DS is better in a broader perspective). I love the two person kart mechanic where you can mix and match two characters and karts together plus the added teamwork with another player, the gameplay is ridiculously hectic and fun, the track selection is one of the best in the series and graphics still holds up to this day. Today, I am still regretting the day I traded in this wonderful gem of a game. If you have a GameCube's, do not pass this up. It is one of GameCube's finest games it has to offer.

I don't like racing games.

So maybe I'm the wrong person to be doing a review. But they are all basically the same and while Double Dash looks pretty it does little to further the genre.

The graphics are, quite simply, gorgeous. Mario Kart Double Dash shows what the Gamecube is capable of with brilliant colors, wonderful landscapes and vivid race courses. The sound isn't up to much though. Sound effects are kind of generic and the music is hardly a standout.

Pretty much, if racing games are for you then Mario Kart Double Dash is essential if you have a Gamecube. I couldn't care less about this genre so I can gladly never play again, no matter how stunning it looks.
