A contender for my favourite of the sing-alongs

I love Disney, I love their sing-along-series, finding them educational and nostalgic. Let's Go to the Circus is perhaps my favourite. Not only for the Disney characters, and all of them are a delight to see, with Goofy such as in the ringing bells number standing out as amusing, but also for the spirited children performances in I Wanna Be Like You and the well thought out interaction between the ringmaster and Mickey. I loved the production values, they were suitably glamorous, and the animals especially the cute chimpanzees. I also admired the dangerous but jaw-dropping trapeze work, and the enthusiasm of the clown in Make Em Laugh and the sequence with the bells, which was notable for Goofy's trouble with getting his bell to work and the lady's shoe falling off when she was dancing. The songs are delightful, Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines takes me back, but the best was Animal Calypso which was adeptly choreographed and trained and had exuberant vocals from Samuel E Wright(Sebastian from The Little Mermaid). Make Em Laugh was fun if dragging just a tad with its many verses, and I Wanna Be Like You had lots of energy. All in all, highly recommended. 10/10 Bethany Cox
