Krazy Goes Felix
boblipton30 March 2017
Krazy Kat will do anything for a meal in this cartoon.

By this time, the mania for Felix the Cat had overwhelmed all other cartoon cats and Krazy acted like Felix. Marching with hands clasped behind the back, shoulders hunched over? Check! Transformations of objects into other objects? Check! Detachable black tail that becomes a walking stick or something else at whim? Check!

It's a good cartoon, mind you, but like most of the Krazy Kat cartoons of the 1920s and 1930s, it has nothing to do with George Herriman's psychedelic comic strip. Still, under the direction of William Nolan, the gags are good, the artwork is fine and if you wish, you can see it yourself on the Eye Institute site on Youtube.
