Stories of farmers who have been working together in a GDR cooperative for twenty years. In spite of idyllic images and a comment aimed at harmony, the impression arises of a partially failed agricultural policy with problems of dependence on the state plan, the disastrous separation of plant and cattle breeding farms and the gigantomania in livestock farming with unmanageable stables.
