A group of friends assembles for a long over-due wedding
I saw this movie at the Vogue Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. It felt real. I loved it. Made me want to have the kind of weekend the characters in the film had. Love, loved, loved it. Erin Jones was fantastic. The music was sublime and it had such feeling. A real joy. Lots of talk, but none of it boring. It felt like I dropped in a party and I didn't want to leave. The ending absolutely devastated me. When they meet again at the conclusion (and you, the viewer thinks Charles Ellis' character is gone) you can't help but smile and go, "wow, what a day." Fine film. I've also heard that some of the characters re-appear in a prequesl called "Paper Cut." I'd love an opportunity to be with these personalities again. I keep hearing the sequel/prequel is opening soon, but the suspense is killing me! What's going on? Please give us Reception fans something after all these years!
