Making Whoopee
It's been a year of matrimony for Eddie Sedgwick and Betty Schade and each reads an article blaming the other sex for husbands' philandering... and then has a nightmare about it in this unsurprising yet funny comedy from Nestor Comedies.
Mister Sedgwick (called "Junior" by his friends) was a capable comedy performer, However, he is better remembered as a fine director of comedy; at MGM for twenty years, he directed Buster Keaton -- they had known each other in vaudeville -- Laurel and Hardy, and Buster Keaton. He was just commencing to direct for television (With I LOVE LUCY) when he died in 1953.
