Cannibal sorority babes, what fun!!!

Surely you know what to expect from a movie like this. On the same playing field as the Sorority House Massacre flicks and Cheerleader Massacre. Two famous Scream Queens, the well past her prime Brinke Stevens, and the surgery enhanced Julie Strain, star as rival sorority sisters. Julie is in charge of a sorority of sexy cannibals who have constant bake sales(guess what the meat is), and Brinke, aided by snoopy college guy Joe Dain, are determined to expose their evil organization.

The girls are very nice to look at, especially Rachel Myers and Jennifer L. Johnson, although trashy girl lovers will be more turned on to Tiffany Shepis. There is a plethora of nudity in this film, the best supplied by Rachel Myers, although Strain and Shepis lose their clothes as well.

I don't know, maybe I'm a little off for liking this stuff, but I find it truly entertaining. My favorite cast member has to be Laura Nativo as the valley-girl narrator of a home video.

If you indescriminatly like nudity then you'll love this movie. But if you don't really want to see nasty old boobs, then perhaps this movie isn't for you. Of course I rented this film based on part the lovely and talented Tiffany Shepis was in it, and she doesn't disappoint.

If you like bad horror movies with really bad acting and sets, and utterly terrible cinematography then this movie is for you. Despite that this is not the worst horror movie out there. There is some nice nudity sure, but wow does this movie get weird. Sorority cannibals led by a weird house mother, need I say more? Well apparently I do in order to have ten full lines for a review, there hopefully that is enough.

I can't remember why I bought this so-called horror flick. I guess it was for the blood. There is some blood available in some kind of cannibalism. Some flesh is ripped from bodies but of camera. You see Julie Strain biting in blood soaked flesh, you see her mincing flesh from men, and you see her boobs. Yes, there is a lot of nudity. And I can say, most of the freaks will look forward to see the boobies. But Julie was 40 when see made this flick so normally they should hang a bit on the lower side but not for Julie. As fake as a tit can be, that's what you will see. Her performance is really wooden, she's mostly walking naked with her tits. But the best part is the lap dance strip act. Luckily they aren't fake and the girl is good looking too. And the strip poker is of course available until they wiggle their you know what. To say that this is a horror, I won't, the killings are boring but as everybody knows, it's a Julie flick so, soft core it will be.

Hot Mama Strain & Groove Girl Shepis rock the sorority

The sorority girls of Delta Delta Pi have a problem. Their diet consists of fraternity boys. No vegetables, just meat. House mother Julie Strain wants a big bash planned for the Homecoming. Since bake sales are what they do best, it has been decided that some buff dudes should be rounded up and put in the blender. Brinke Stevens catches a whiff of the plan and decides to give Strain a piece of her mind. It's time for a B-movie scream queen showdown.

First, let me state the obvious. This is not a good movie. The acting is embarrassing and the action is lame. The gore is also pathetic. I think a weekend would have been enough time to shoot this B-epic. If this took any longer than two weeks to film, I would be shocked. Is it a good horror film? No. The very concept that this movie could be scary is laughable. Horror is not to be found at this house.

HOWEVER, if there's one aspect of B-movies I always appreciate, it's the nudity. "Delta Delta Die" excels in that aspect. It is my duty and privilege to thank them by name. Thank you Julie Strain, Tiffany Shepis, Katie Adams, and Rachel Myers. All the other sorority girls need to leave the DDP's and go hook up with the Lambda Lambda Lambda's. Get lost nerds. Only these four understood that they were in a cannibalistic sorority movie. The movie couldn't do anything else right but film topless women. At least they knew how to do that.

Thank God for Julie Strain. Amazon warrior Strain does her topless thing again and all is right with the world. She has never met a bra she didn't want to rip off. Please let it always be so. Tiffany Shepis shows up to get her groove thing on in a strip tease dance. If she wanted to, she could look into stripping full time. She's got the hot moves. I'm not saying that to be insulting. I mean it. HOT. Adams and Myers also get naked. Adams scene is during a flashback and Myers has two rounds of nudity. I'd like to see Myers in some more B-insanity. She's got the bod AND the right B-movie attitude.

So as far as nudity, I applaud "Delta Delta Die". Everything else was lame. Brinke Stevens shows up and does NOT get naked. Oh Brinke. Why are you being shy? I have a Haunting Fear we won't be seeing Stevens getting naked again. Strain had to carry the load in this one. No shyness to worry about there.

I bought this film in Blockbusters for a pound thinking "This looks awful, I bet it will be really funny!" How wrong I was.

If you want to watch a B movie with tits and arse watch 'Showgirls,' Delta Detla Die has the thinest of plots with weak acting from all but a few great actresses who must have been down on their luck when they agreed to do this film.

The script is weak and at best there are one or two witty lines of dialogue. The idea that a sorority who eats the flesh of men was pretty good, unfortunately it lacks commitment on the script. Would have been better with maybe a slightly larger budget, some different casting and a script reworking.

Thankfully the movie doesn't take itself too seriously or it would have been far worse.

I just finished watching this trash of a film and I want my 83 minutes of life back. The movie is based upon a group of sorority sisters that lure athletes back to their house. The girls then kill these guys after they seduce them. After the girls kill them, they then eat these men for breakfast or dinner. It's really stupid! The deaths are lame. Each and every shot lacks gore and special effects. Another thing that bothered me is that the lighting. I could have had better lighting effects with my MAG LITE. Look, just stay away from this movie. Not even Brinke Stevens could save this failure. Listen to my words and stay away.

This movie is good for a laugh. It is basically about a canibalistic sorority, but the plot and acting is very bad. Nudity is profanities are used for no reason, and they just make the film even more cheesy. There is really nothing interesting. It is not bad enough to actually be enjoyable. (for example: I thought the Evil Dead movies were cheesy, but they were funny enough to watch more than once) This is just another bad horror movie.

On January 10, 2021, our world got a whole lot worse when Julie Strain died. In everything she did - and look, not every movie is really all that great, but who cares - she exuded confidence, a spirit of fun and a knowing wink that said, "Just shut up and enjoy it." So many kids my age had crushes on celebrities and I would just think, "Yeah, but she's no Julie Strain."

This movie has Julie, Brinke Stevens and Tiffany Shepis in it, which is really more than we deserve. It's about a sorority led by Mother Fitch (Strain) called Delta Delta Pi that loves to eat human flesh because, well, who knows and who cares why. As they prepare for homecoming, a student tries to stop their evil acts, so she brings in one of their first member Rhonda Cooper (Brinke).

Julie's half-sister Lizzy was also in this, so there's that. I mean, you also get to see Julie dance covered in blood, as well as demand that people grind a man's scrotum up. It's not the greatest movie you've ever seen, but that's totally the kind of movie that Julie would make better just by showing up. Except for the Andy Sidaris films she's in. Those are like perfect with perfect on top.

Oh yeah - this movie also has full frontal dong. If that upsets you, please know that there are also scenes of tallywhackers being devoured and not in the raw. Please enjoy!

Dumb, trashy, profane, exploitative...

Yet so much fun! I have been waiting a long time for just a silly, funny, trashy, entertaining direct-to-video movie with just the right B-movie attitude... and here it finally is! I must say that this desperate little piece of trash had me in stitches from beginning to end. It reminded me of those glory days in the 80s when Linnea Quigley, Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens were headlining fun minor B flicks like Hollywood CHAINSAW HOOKERS and SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA. Of course, I grew up on those films watching USA UP ALL NIGHT, so I may be partial to this particular subgenre, but their tone, their campiness and their outrageousness is the current equivalent of the much missed drive-in movie experience of the 1970s. Just turn off your brain, sit back with some junk food, watch the movie and have a good time.

Things open at the Delta Delta Pi sorority house. House mother Marilyn Fitch (Julie Strain) and her current stock of four buxom sorority girls decide on the fate of Hannah, who has betrayed the stringent rules of their house. Her crime is so severe that the ladies decide the only appropriate punishment is to lock Hannah in the cellar for an entire month. What act could be so bad to require such cruel treatment? Why eating a penis, of course! Yes, these gals are actually (gasp!) flesheating cannibals. To keep their house thriving, they also sell meat pies and other gourmet treats on the side which, you guessed it, contain human flesh. Meanwhile, a male student named Tobias (Joseph Dain) catches on and enlists the aid of former sorority girl and ex-cannibal Rhonda Cooper (Brinke Stevens) to stop them.

The plot is somewhat similar to the seldom-seen horror comedy AUNTIE LEE'S MEAT PIES (starring Karen Black, Michael Berryman, Pat Morita and a google of Playboy Playmates), but this much cheaper videotaped effort (the picture quality is a little dark but tolerable and the sound is alright) goes off in its own enjoyable direction. I don't want to give away too many of the silly gags or the cheesy one-liners, but I would like to talk about the two main reasons this extremely hokey little time-waster is extremely enjoyable when you're in the mood for this type of flick.

First off, I've never been a big fan of Julie Strain, but she really delivers the goods in this film, proving that some things just get better with age (and I am not talking about her looks). Though she has aged well (she's 40 now and looks pretty much the same as she did 15 years ago), she finally seems to have a handle on how to deliver an enjoyably campy performance. She's just so enthusiastic here and seems to have had a blast making this film and that sort of energy rubs off directly onto the viewer.

Tiffany Shepis, who plays Patrice, also has a leg up on her competition, both in this film and in the currently overloaded parade of up-and-coming Scream Queens. She's easily the best actress in this film (with a very sexy snarl and a confident, somewhat conceited way of delivering her lines) and she nails every laugh. She also proves her acting chops by getting in a bar fight with a couple of trashy hos and seducing two guys in the basement after a game of strip poker, performing a sexy strip to a hilariously bad techno song that repeats "make your body move" ad nauseum. I saw Tiffany in brief parts in some Troma movies and also in TED BUNDY (she's the one who escapes), but I must say, she won me over here and I can't wait to see more of her.

In short, those looking for a conventionally "good" horror film should steer clear of DELTA DELTA DIE...Those looking for some sex (with both male and female skin scenes to please just about everyone), cheap gore and just a fun little B-movie should definitely give this one a thumbs up.

B-greatness

Scream queen Julie strain is Marilyn Fitch, a fonding chapter member and den-mother to cannabalistic sorority, Delta Delta Pi. Using the meat of local frat boys in meat-pies (ok, it's not very original, but so what? it's fun). Scream queen Brink Stevens is Rhonda Cooper, fellow founding member who got away from the sorority. But now Rhonda's back and all hell will break lose. This movie is a new guilty pleasure of mine. Nearly everything you want in a good campy B-horror movie is here. Nudity, gore, humor, and a good pace all combine to make a nice experience. Everyone looks like they're having fun & it really shows. Nice twist ending too.

After his debut with the mediocre albeit original "Bleed", director Devin Hamilton makes a different move in "Delta Delta Die!"; a campy hybrid between Nudie Cuties and the modern style of horror. Like a light version of Joe D'Amato's sleaze classics, "Delta Delta Die!" delivers a fair share of good Sexploitation; however, and unlike D'Amato masterpieces, the tone set here is more of mindless fun as the movie has a lot of comedy (both intentional and unintentional).

The movie starts with a sale by the girls of the Delta Delta Pi sorority house. Apparently, their food is so good and they are the richest and most popular sorority house on campus. However, we soon discover that the main ingredient of their success, is that the food they make is done with human flesh. Julie Strain is Marilyn Fitch, the sexy leader of this house where girls learn to lure and cook nearby boys. Joseph Dain is Tobias, a nerdy student who is decided to stop this bloody business but is not aware that the Delta Delta girls hide a secret that has kept them safe for 20 years.

Julie Strain never has been this good, and it seems that she was truly enjoying the making of this movie. Her character is like a sexed up evil clone of Gilmore Girls' Lorelai, with witty one-liners and a bad attitude. She plays the role of evil mastermind with joy and her over-the-top performance fits the movie perfectly.

Brinke Stevens is also good in her role as a former member of the sorority who comes to help young Tobias, but it seems that her character was not as developed as the rest. However, her presence in the film, as well as Strain's, feels like passing the torch to a new generation of Scream Queens, as the Delta Delta girls are lead by Tiffany Shepis, who is one of the best (and sexiest) actress in b-movies these days.

In fact, Shepis owns the screen not only with her beauty, but also with her talent, and it seems that she can make a believable character no matter how cheesy or campy the script is. Richar Myers and Lizzie Strain complete the team, and there is also good performances by Katie Adams and Julia Marchese as the young versions of Julie Strain and Brinke Stevens respectively. The whole film is like a feast of B-Movie Queens, obviously, lots of nudity included.

While the movie is definitely cheap in the production values, it feels like a serious improvement over the at times dull "Bleed". Devin Hamilton just goes for the fun and keeps the trashy feeling this sexploitational comedy delivers. It's good to see a movie that doesn't takes itself too seriously (one of the main problems in most B-movies) and even makes fun of itself.

Of course this movie is not a serious horror, and of course this is nothing more than a cheap Nudie Cutie; however, "Delta Delta Die!" never tries to be more than that and it succeeds delivering campy mindless entertainment in better ways than most big budget comedies out there. I would just die for a Delta Delta Pie! 6/10

clash of the "b" girl titans

THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME. b-movie goddesses julie strain and brinke stevens together for the first time ever. seeing these two was better than seeing deniro and pacino meet up in michael mann's HEAT years ago! is the plot good? you bet. it's about a sorority of cannibal girls! now if that's not a b-movie i don't know what is. i liked the script, the acting, the humor, the visual style...everything. definitely one of the best indies i've seen in a while. and believe me i've seen a lot. devin hamilton's earlier film BLEED was great, but debbie rochon totally made that film for me. with DELTA DELTA DIE, you get the whole enchilada. fans of HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS should definitely not miss this one. blood, nudity, great dialogue, and possibly julie strain's greatest role yet.

So much fun

Memories, the curse of aging. It is so hard to enjoy anything when your mind can recall times where similar things where available. I couldn't watch 'The Jacket' without thinking of 'Jacob's Ladder', I couldn't watch 'The last horror movie' without thinking of 'Man bites dog' and yet I could enjoy watching this film without thinking about all the earlier cannibal sorority babes films that came before it. Perhaps this film was so brilliant that it was above comparison? No, I'm sure that wasn't it. Has my memory started to fade from age? Perhaps but I can still recall the great Karen Black film 'Auntie Lee's Meat Pies' so that can't be it. Could my mind has been fogged by the strip tease performed by Troma favorite Tiffany Shepis? Actually that one makes a lot of sense but I think there may be more to it than that. Like the basic fact that this film is a lot of fun.

The delta's are the most popular sorority on campus. Thanks to house mother Julie Strain their charity bake sales are always big hits. But what is in the meat pies that make them so darn delicious? Oh crap, since I already referred to them as cannibal sorority babes I guess that really isn't much of question. They kill people and feed them to the other students (although they are not allowed to feed on the flesh themselves which leads to friction within the house).

Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way. Yes there is a lot of nudity. Films like this thrive on it. Julie Strain seems to be trying to make up for her sister Lizzie's refusal to disrobe by removing her cloths with alarming frequency. Perhaps the budget was too low for fabric softener and she found them scratchy and uncomfortable? Aside from the already mentioned (and very much appreciated) Tiffany Shepis dance the film features enough flashes of nudity to keep the most bored of viewers tuned in. This may seem like enough to recommend the film but the movie actually offers more. There is a surprising amount of humour that actually works, the cast all offer either half decent performances (Brinke Stevens and Tiffany Shepis are especially strong with Julie Strain obviously having a ball) or they are likable enough to overcome their shortcomings and the film moves at a brisk enough pace to make the whole experience quite pleasant.

This is simply a highly entertaining B movie that sits along side Cheerleader Ninjas as reminders of how much fun these films can be.

Gotta love it! Sorrority girls, cannibalism, nudity, fake gore, Julie Strain and Brinke Stevens! What else could a B fan want? This movie has it all, and is a non-stop laugh.

*Spoilers* The Delta Delta Pies are yummy....and made from young college boys! No wonder they taste so good. :-) Mother Fitch (Strain) leads a pack of bloodthirsty sorority girls with one thing on their mind....making guys into pies for their annual bake-off. But an ex sister (Stevens) and a meddling student (Joe Dain) are out to put a stop to the madness once and for all. It's a cat-fight to the death between Brinke and Julie, and which side will win? A must have for any B fan, A+++

Great trashy fun!

Well, past experience has taught me not to go into modern day gore films with high expectations; but this tale of sorority girls and cannibalism really hits the spot, and is by far and away one of the best modern examples of this sort of trash that I've seen! One reason why these modern efforts often fail is because they simply can't capture that great fetid atmosphere that classic directors such as Jess Franco and Joe D'Amato did so effortlessly. This one doesn't succeed in capturing that feel either; but the direct to video low budget style is an adequate replacement, and the music used, as well as the beautiful naked women that frequent the movie more than make up for it. The plot focuses on the Delta Delta Pi sorority house. It comes under scrutiny from a certain student after he notices that several men have entered the house and not come back out. There's a reason for this as well; as the beautiful girls of the house are in business, producing pies; and the meat that goes in the pies is the same meat on the bones of the men they invite into the house!

I do have to say that despite my high rating and enthusiasm for this film; it really isn't good. The technical elements of the movie are a joke, with the actors seeming like they were picked up off the street based on their looks and the plot being pure hokum - but it's great FUN, and that's what makes it good. As you might expect, the movie has a fair amount of porn in it; but unfortunately it's only really soft, and despite some scenes that see people being tortured naked etc, there's not any actual sex in the movie. It doesn't really matter, however, as director Devin Hamilton is able to keep things moving through a constant stream of hilarious and irreverent occurrences. A film like this really needs a sense of humour, and Delta Delta Die certainly has one as hardly anything is taken seriously, and the way that the sorority girls talk about their macabre business usually provides some amusement. Overall, it's clear that this film will do nothing for people who like their films to be high on artistic value; but as direct to video modern trash flicks go, this is a very good one and comes highly recommended!

The Men Walk In, But They Don't Walk Out...

In DELTA DELTA DIE!, guys are disappearing on campus at an alarming rate, and winding up in the clutches of some true man-eaters.

The irrepressible Julie Strain plays Marilyn Fitch, the dominating house mother of the Delta Delta Pi sorority house. This is one of Ms. Strain's most astounding roles, as she's allowed to truly unleash her dark side. Her 6'1" frame adds to her character's unholy majesty.

Loaded with violence, gore, gratuitous nudity, humor, BDSM, and cannibalism, this movie provides everything a growing body needs.

Aside from being a showcase for the aforementioned Amazon Goddess, it also stars Tiffany Shepis and Julie's sister Lizzy as anthropophagic coeds!

For lovers of the absurdly ghoulish and gruesome...

A fairly fun if somewhat flawed indie slasher/comedy

Preparing to celebrate their anniversary, a group of women in a sorority prepares for their latest campus-wide fundraising by abducting and killing various men around campus for secret ingredients in a special series of recipes forcing a former sorority member to try to end their reign of chaos.

This here was quite a fun genre effort. Among the better elements here come from the delightfully cheesy setup of the sorority and its set of rules and regulations that go on here. Showing how they're under the various stipulations for how to present themselves as upstanding members of the community so no one gets wind of what they're really doing and given some great signs of their relationship coming together with each other comes off incredibly well. Being able to get away with the student disappearances through the connection with the authorities on campus and how that comes to be gives the film a cheesy enough setup to get started. There's also quite a lot to like with the cheesy attitudes here toward the capturing and butchering of victims. The rather sleazy seduction angles towards the students offer the requisite setup to see the girls use their femininity to capture their victims before taking out their bodies to be the next preparation. The whole idea of the finale where they get overwhelmed by the former sorority member and engage in a series of confrontations with the unsuspecting women has some goofy fun to it as a lead-in to the catfight with a highly unexpected payoff. These factors all manage to provide this one with some likable factors although the film does have some issues to it. That comes about mainly from the rather bizarre attempts at integrating cheesy purposefully into the film through some rather questionable means. Those are mainly forced around the bizarre antics of chopping up victims and playing with the body parts in preparation for the meat from their victims that's the wrong kind of corny. As well, there's also the weird subplot about the backstory of the former member who knows of their bloodthirsty past but is treated way too casually for someone who knows the truth and can potentially disrupt their plans, which coupled with the generally cheap look here bring this one down.

Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Language, Full Male & Female Nudity, and Violence.

A delightfully trashy tongue-in-cheek horror hoot

The women of the college fraternity Delta Delta Pi kill guys and eat them. Worse still, they even sell their meat to other unsuspecting folks at regular events on campus. It's up to the snoopy Tobias (likable Joe Dain) and take-charge former charter member Rhonda Cooper (the ever-foxy Brinke Stevens in fine form) to stop the deranged Mother Marilyn Fitch (slyly essayed with considerable lip-licking gusto by the impossibly statuesque Julie Strain) and her girls. Writer/director Devin Hamilton whips a gleefully low-brow horror comedy treat that really delivers the entertaining down'n'dirty exploitation goods: we've got plentiful tasty female nudity (a couple of guys also show their stuff as well), full-bore profane dialogue, crude humor, a strip poker game, a raucous rock soundtrack, cheesy gore, and a wild anything-goes climactic catfight between Strain and Stevens. The cast play their parts with tremendous go-for-it enthusiasm: Strain and Stevens are clearly having a ball with their roles, plus there are equally lively turns by the gorgeous Tiffany Shepis as the feisty Patrice, Steve Malis as the wimpy Dean John Wilkins, Karen A. Smith as the wayward Hannah Bull, Rachel Myers as buxom blonde babe Clarice, Lizzy Strain as the cute Mandy, and Jennifer L. Johnson as the adorable Simone. Better still, Shepis performs a sizzling hot striptease and Julie Strain bares her beautifully bountiful breasts with pleasing frequency. A hugely enjoyable piece of delectably crass camp.

So horrible, yet so entertaining.

These Shadow Entertainment films are definitely good for one thing...

... your own "Mystery Science Theatre 3000" party.

The story revolves around the "most prestigious" sorority on campus -- Delta Delta Pi. The "Pi Girls" have a secret, though: they systemically murder scores of hunky muscle-studs and bake them into pies! Since the pies sell better than any high-school candy sale ever could -- and are oh-so-low in carbs (this is SoCal) -- why not do it?

Unfortunately, a meddlesome student named Tobias is on to the Pi Girls! But why oh why won't his University dean (there's only one) not take his claims seriously? And what has happened to his best friend? And why the hell is a 40-year-old woman still living in a sorority house? Tobias's meddlesome questions are posing a problem to the Pi Girls way of life, and he must be stopped.

This movie is BAD. And when I mean bad, it's like falling down in front of a bicycle, into a steaming pile of dog crap, while raining(!), and then you're struck by lightening and paralyzed for life.

It is that bad.

Take note of the "Dean's Office" -- aka, someone's parents' den in their SoCal home. I know my campus' administrative facilities have excessive interior windows, pink, wood-paneled walls, and a backyard lying outside. Priceless!

Of course, when I purchased this film, I didn't know that I was buying a soft-core porn. This isn't B-rate horror -- this is C-rate soft-core porn with some sadism thrown in. There is an obligatory strip poker scene, a "sexy lap dance!" that lasts at least 10 minutes too long, and you get to see some huge 40-year-old lady knockers at least 7 times.

But despite all of the bad: bad script, horrid acting, atrocious sets, lighting, and effects -- this movie is perfect for a dorm-room party. Your friends will die laughing at lines like "THE PENIS IS FILLED WITH GERMS AND SPERM!" and "HUHN-UHN!!! NO YOU DIDN'T!!!" and the crazy amounts of forced sexuality. It's a movie to knock, not to enjoy.

Oh, and the DVD is loaded with a slew of hilarious extras, although they are sometimes raunchy, disgusting, and -- even somewhat depressing. I'm a gay man, and I really didn't need to see 40 year old Julie Strain run around for 15 minutes with all sorts of (really bad) dungeon paraphernalia only to see her put the handle of a potato masher...

... well, we'll stop there. You can also see extended cuts of all of the "murder/seduction" scenes with Julie Strain, and they are disturbing. I didn't know if these hunky muscled twenty-somethings were really excited about Strain's dirty talk, but I think they were. My friends and I were in stitches.

And then there's a 20 minute video with Strain and one of the Pi girls at their (real) home which only made me feel more trashy than usual. It made my life seem like an A+ endeavor by comparison.

Bottom line: hilarious movie, hilarious extras, albeit there is sick, middle-aged-on-young sexuality, pointless and fake "gore," and acting that came straight out of a high school drama class.

Check out "Birth Rite" if you want more bad acting/plot/gore, less sexuality.

Brinke Stevens - time to let go, babe

Ok, as many people know (especially my site visitors) I LOVE bad horror movies. Especially when they are just gory, boob filled orgies of sex and meaningless violence. I cannot help it. it is born in me. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE good films too! I can appreciate fine horror art. but sometimes a crappy, laugh filled, booby showing, blood spraying, no plot having film can be fun to pass the time. And Delta Delta Die is no exception. This films is what bad horror is all about. Boobs, fins looking women in little nighties, blood, gore, sick plot, etc. it IS entertaining, and it is a fun flick.

BUT...here is the catch: Brinke Stevens. The time has come to let it go. Brinke was NEVER THAT hot to begin with, and time after time, I see films which exploit her body left and right. One in particular was Demon Lust (which also starred a rather chunky Tom Savini as a yo-yo loving mob thug). I mean, sure, full frontal nudity is lovely, but when the woman is an aging, flat-chested, not that hot to begin with actress, it is not needed. Everyone wants to see this woman naked on film. Everyone advertises her as the SCREAM QUEEN. Well, you are wrong! Linnea Quigley, Jamie Lee Curtis, Fay Ray, Syn DeVil, Debbie Rochon, etc...these girls are scream queens. Brinke, is not.

Now, do not misunderstand me here...I am not saying we do not owe Brinke alot for all the work she has done. B-grade horror would be at a loss without all of her roles, for sure. For that I am grateful. She has brought alot to the horror genre. However: I am seeing film after film using her in roles that are just pathetic. Using her past sexually based roles and a vehicle to exploit her name in new, NON-sexual roles is just a film-maker bait and switch technique to get us to buy the dvd's.

Brinke, I love ya...But please, pick some roles that do not rely on your name alone to sell the film. Pick a role that lets you act as I know you can. I have all your films. I know you can act. You do not need to f**k every guy in the film and run naked through the woods for 9 0minutes to sell a film. And for god's sake pick a role with decent dialogue! Where do these writer's learn their technique??!!! JEEZ!

So is Delta Delta Die a good film? Well, sure, if you are not looking for the next Halloween, or Friday the 13th franchise. It goes along with other sorority house films such as Slumber Party Massacre and House On Sorority Row. Watch it, and you will be entertained. And...um...."stimulated".

I liked the film. I just had to rant about this whole Brinke Stevens thing. I hate seeing unused talent.

One last thing: Tiffany Shepis...OMFG! What a babe!

Where do I start with this one? Maybe I should just keep it short and say avoid it. It's from Shadow Films (aka Charles Band's unsuccessful Full Moon revamp), it's got Julie Strain on the cover, and Devin Hamilton directed it. Why did I even bother? Tiffany Shepis, that's why. I'll admit it. The plot is a bit reminiscent of Motel Hell, but with tons more nudity. Some sorority babes lure college dudes back to their house, cut them up, cook them and sell them. Brinke Stevens is very drab in this one and Strain is WAY over the top. Which is not unusual for her. If you like gratuitous nudity, a campy storyline, and a mix of aging scream queens and newcomers...then this is your movie. I really miss the Full Moon heyday.
