Continuity

During the proposition bet sequence, as Billie calls off the time, Huck starts the final putt at 2:59:57. The putt takes a full seven seconds to fall in the cup, but Billie reports the time as 3:00:02 instead of 3:00:04.
At the beginning of the final scene in Dino's parking lot, the wide shot shows a car backing onto the street. In the next frame (narrow shot), the car has disappeared.
In the Diner/convenient store when Huck and his father are sitting there and L.C. is showing Huk a hand that happened to him and the Aces keep changing position from shot to shot.
Just after the players at the final table are introduced, the dealer goes through the motions of "washing" the cards, that is, spreading them out haphazardly over the table, then gathering them up again into a neat stack for shuffling and dealing twice, repeating the gestures between shots without the time required for human hands to make the gestures twice.

Factual errors

When Huck ('Eric Bana') plays in the super satellite and it's down to 3 players it is said that Shannon Kincaid (Jennifer Harmon) is the chip leader but the very next hand she ends up all in against Huck and is out of the tournament, if she was the chip leader then she would still have chips left and not out. And then in the same scene after she is knocked out the remaining 2 end up all in and Huck believes he has won, however the dealer did not burn a card so when he comes back and loses he is out this would mean that they had identical chip stacks, which is not possible since he had taken the chip lead with the knockout of Kincaid.
In the Bellagio poker room scene immediately after 'Huck Cheever' applies the frozen peas to his bruised face, his father 'L.C. Cheever' gives him $500 in chips from his stack. This is not allowed. Removing chips from the table, thus taking them out of out of play, is called "going south," and is very bad form. (This is different than letting another player buy chips from you to remain in the game, which does not take the chips out of play. 'L.C. Cheever' does this when he sells chips to 'Big Buckle Iverson' after busting him earlier in the movie.)
During a poker game, Huck calls another player then reveals his own hand, but the person he called did not. This of course is backwards, the called person has to reveal, and the caller only has to reveal if he beats them.

Anachronisms

In the main event tournament bust out hand, when the son mucks his winning hand so that the father can win, this is an egregious violation of poker rules. He is effectively chip dumping. It may (depending on the rules in play at the time) have also violated the rule that in a tournament, when any player is all-in, all involved hands must be turned face up (to avoid chip dumping).

However, previously, the son had told the love interest that she was right, that he shouldn't have asked her to cheat, etc, which is exactly what he did in that situation - albeit cheating to lose, it's still cheating.
In the shot of 'Huck Cheever' riding his motorcycle at dawn (just before the big tournament) we see the famous Las Vegas Strip in the background. The Stratosphere tower is visible at the right of the screen, and to the left of that (south toward Center Strip), the very distinctive and slightly sloped roof line of Wynn Las Vegas can clearly be seen. The movie is set in 2003, but Wynn Las Vegas was not completed until 2005.

Errors in geography

There is a brief shot of 'Huck Cheever' riding his motorcycle at dawn to Bakersfield to visit 'Billie Offer' just before the big tournament. In this shot he is clearly riding in the wrong direction. The Stratosphere's tower is toward the right of the screen, and the Center Strip casinos south of it are in the middle of the screen. Cheever rides past camera position, heading due east toward Arizona. California and Bakersfield are southwest of Las Vegas. The most direct route to Bakersfield would be I-15 south to I-58 west, both of which are miles away on the other side of the Vegas Strip.

Plot holes

If Bobby Basketball claimed he had his rent to Huck paid up till 2008, why did he have his bags packed ready to head back east that night?
