Lead actress Jeanette Sterke was in fact born in Prague like Anne of Bohemia, the queen she portrays. Sterke would subsequently headline as another English queen consort: Anne Boleyn, in The White Falcon (1956), and also as Maria Fitzherbert, the morganatic wife of George IV of Britain, in The Lass of Richmond Hill (1957).
