Jerry the Troublesome Tyke was a cartoon series issued for a couple of years by British Pathe. Its star was a small dog -- "tyke" is Yorkshire dialect for a dog and also a mean man. Jerry was a very human-acting dog with a vicious temper and a habit at laughing at his own jokes and the series, while always visually competent, does not travel well in time.
In this one, Jerry is playing golf and having a serues of problems, including his ball being stolen by a black bird and carried up a tree -- hence the cartoon's title. At half a reel, this will be over quickly enough, but it won't impel you to seek others in the series.
