Rosalee's bangs change drastically when she is on the date with Tad Hamilton.
During the date of Tad and Rosalee, Tad's stuff appears and disappears from the table as the camera switches from facing Tad to facing to Rosalee. Moments later Tad starts taking out these objects from his jacket and puts them on the table.
When Tad is sitting on the bed in the motel while talking on the phone, he takes his shoes off. In one shot his left shoe is already off, then he takes the right one off, but the left one is back on.
When Tad is talking to Rosalee at her cash register station, the cash register screen changes twice between shots. First, the total is $0 and there are no items listed. Then, the total is $15 and the screen is full of items. Then, the total is $34. Meanwhile, all of this time Rosalee has not scanned any items.
When Tad is getting dressed to go on his first date with Rosalee his shirt is fully opened in one shot and is closed in the next. When we cut to him again he is buttoning his shirt.
Spelling error in opening credits: "We will wisk you away..."
Despite the fact that this was filmed in Super 35, "Filmed in Panavision" is listed in the end credits.
In the final scene, clouds appear to pass behind the moon.
When Tad gets a movie role, we hear Rosalee say "So you're going then?" and Tad answers "Yes," but neither character's mouths move at all.
At the movies, when Tad says, "Give me a break, I just lost my wife and my goat," his mouth doesn't move.
When both Richard Levys are talking to Tad about his drinking/driving photo, and Shameless (Sean Hayes) says, "...to remind Jimmy Ing and America that you...", you can see his mouth moving too early before he says "and Armerica."
As Rosis and Tad leave for Hollywood from the airport in Charleston, West Virginia the scenery at the airport as they are boarding shows rolling hills behind and above the airport. Yeager Airport sits at the top of a mountain in Charleston and there is no higher ground surrounding the airport.
There are no Piggly Wiggly stores in West Virginia, invalidating the film's main location.
One of the characters mentioned "the cloverleaf on Route 73." The only Route 73 in West Virginia is a small state-maintained road. And none of the interstates has a cloverleaf.
Frazier's Bottom is located outside of Huntington, WV. Rosalee had a blue and gold WVU banner in her room, when it should have been the green and white of Marshall.
