A mixture of sensation and melodrama
deickemeyer31 October 2017
A film story in which Edwin August plays the part of a minister. He absents himself mysteriously to look after a new home he is having built. His wife and friends plan a flirtation to bring his attention back home. He discovers them kissing just at a time when thieves are entering the house. The following scenes are a mixture of sensation and melodrama. The plot, while interesting, seemed to lack consistency toward the close. - The Moving Picture World, August 30, 1913
