De Kus is the story of a 16-year old girl who's overprotected by her wealthy parents. She dreams of becoming a ballet-dancer, but her parents want her to have a 'decent' diploma. When she meets a boy and falls in love, her life takes another path. She doesn't know the boy is a pimp and his only goal is to lure her into the prostitution. The only weak point in the story is imho that the pimp has his "base" in a youth café where during the day schoolgirls and boys are coming and at night prostitutes do their business. It's the story about a girl awakening, becoming an adult in a very abrupt way. The metamorphosis is expressively shown and the public notices a significant different girl at the end of the movie.
