boo!

Lillian Peacock is set to inherit her uncle's house, now that he's dead and all, but she must live there. Housekeepers Gale Henry and Dan Duffy will inherit it if she leaves, so they're trying to scare her off. And into this mess walks innocent burglar Heinie Conklin.

It's one of those fake haunted house comedies that remained popular for decades, and the rather disheveled Joker comedy set that the company was using must have been as familiar to its audiences as the Roach set for hotels and rich men's houses. It's certainly not a sophisticated comedy, but the rough-and-tumble slapstick should please those who enjoy such activities.
