The lives of people connected by their television work, is the basis of this Spanish melodrama that was shown on cable recently. Lured by some of the names of some of the principals, we decided to take a chance. Well, it did not paid off.

Ramon, the successful producer of television soaps is at the center of this ill conceived movie that has the feeling of having been done by the numbers. He is asked, after receiving an important award, to go to help Enrique, at the leading man's home where he is under the effects of having taken too many drugs. He was alerted by Faby, an illegal alien trying to eke a life in Spain. To complicate matters, Ramon decides to marry Enrique to Faby, then offers a job to her in the soap he is producing. Ramon's wife, Carmen, figures her husband is having an affair with the beautiful Faby.

Directed by Antonio Del Real, this film lacks originality because it relies on old formulas that do not work within the context of the narrative. The excellent Leticia Bredice, an Argentine star in her own right is totally wasted, as it is the case with Jose Sancho and Emilio Gutierrez Caba, who have done better.
