This is a pretty good movie on chimps and the very rare...bonobo. I watched it in University one day and it was not boring. I found most of it fascinating as to how similar they are to humans. Orphan chimps are adopted, but not fully accepted into their society, and displays from the alpha males are interesting. The organized hunting groups are also fascinating. They manage to corner and trap their prey (smaller monkeys)and share it with each other. If the Alfa male doesn't contribute to the hunt, the catchers will not share any with him. The playful chimps are cute, however; I was shocked to see how violent chimpanzees really are. They kidnap their own child, beat back the mother with the baby, and end up killing it as if it was prey. All in all, it was a great educational film and I would recommend it to anyone interested in Human ancestors and monkeys.
