. . . but revealing in its own right, INSIDE FOR YOUR EYES ONLY sheds further light on Eon Production Company's notorious invasion of Greece. Even though the James Bond of the early 1980s--Roger Moore--admits to suffering from acrophobia (or, the fear of heights), it was decided to have his character scale a sheer finger mountain (or rock pillar) to instigate the climax of FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, this inside story reveals. The only problem was that the promontory in question--Aoya Triada in Meteora, Greece--was a working monastery, and the monks had no interest in facilitating Tinsel Town mayhem. But, as everyone knows, money talks, and what Hollywood (or any of its cheap foreign satellites such as Eon) wants, Hollywood gets. Armed only with their bed sheets, the holy men proved no match for an onslaught of local atheists stirred up by the prospect of easy money. Obviously, the monks' solitude and sacred vows were "no skin off the nose" of the disbelieving low-landers. Therefore, INSIDE FOR YOUR EYES ONLY stands as one of the rare candid confessions of Big Media brazenness.
