The heroine Sashikala is Rajani in Telugu . She is fresh as a daisy here . Herself and Mohan are college mates and start loving each other after a few teasings and leg pullings .
She is Christian but her family approves whole heartedly of him.
Janagraj and his bunch of college mates are up to no good in the campus . they are always up to some mischief and fall into trouble .
Once they manage to kill a couple romancing and create a big strike in t the college to divert the attention.
Sashikala's father being police inspector comes over to calm the matters and gets killed in the violence.
Sashikala some how misunderstands as Mohan being the killer and refuses to talk to him .
another student has eyes for her and tries to lure her from giving her a job and taking her on shopping sprees. Mohan's and Shashikala's paths keep getting crossed but she does not acknowledge him despite he trying to show his innocence .
In the end ,Janagraj ( who is now lost his mind ) comes back into their lives and sorts out matters .
The movie has nice songs in nice locales . Mohan is very good as a middle class hero .He was a rising star from the early 80s .
