Average Christmas Special From the 1970's
Christmas-Reviewer25 September 2017
BEWARE OF FALSE REVIEWS & REVIEWERS. SOME REVIEWERS HAVE ONLY ONE REVIEW TO THEIR NAME. NOW WHEN ITS A POSITIVE REVIEW THAT TELLS ME THEY WERE INVOLVED WITH THE MOVIE. IF ITS A NEGATIVE REVIEW THEN THEY MIGHT HAVE A GRUDGE AGAINST THE FILM . NOW I HAVE REVIEWED OVER 300 HOLIDAY FILMS & SPECIALS. I HAVE NO AGENDA.

The Carpenters were considered "square" even when they were at their peek. It didn't help that they visited the Nixon White House not once but twice. When this special aired it was the era of Saturday Night Fever and the White Disco style clothing was the inspiration for many f the clothes seen on this special.

This special is a time capsule and its typical bad variety special humor. However it is a rare time where we can see Karen enjoying what she was put on this earth to do. She enjoys Christmas Music and it shows in this special.

I wish this show was more available for fans to watch. It is a nice special to watch that does hearken backs to a less cynical time!
