After receiving mysterious empty packages inside his apartment, a young computer-programmer (named Simon) begins a personal investigation into their origins. This leads him to discover his odd and eccentric neighbors; an artificially intelligent robot-head, named Adam; a virtual-reality sex game; and a possible corporate conspiracy. As the story progresses, Simon's grip on reality becomes more and more tenuous, while his craving for Nature Fresh milk becomes almost unbearable. Is it all just in his mind, or is something more sinister happening here?
Simon is a computer programmer living in a future dystopia where cameras are watching our every move. Every time he goes out, he finds that someone has entered his apartment and left a seemingly empty package for him. He begins to suspect the other people in his building, but they all seem either absorbed and isolated within their own worlds, or completely deranged from paranoia. Could it be that everyone is out to get him?
Paranoid computer programmer Simon wakes up to find a package in his room one day. Despite attempts at securing his apartment, the packages keep arriving. While cameras watch Simon's every move, he struggles to find the answers to the mysterious forces taking over his life.
