This was the last ever show to go under the WWF name. Due to a lawsuit from the World Wildlife Fund the Federation changed its name to World Wrestling Entertainment and started to use the WWE name on the following episode of RAW on May 6, 2002.
It was claimed that on the airliner home following the Insurrextion 2002 pay-per-view was a shoot fight between Brock Lesnar and Mr. Perfect, arguing over their amateur skills. After this controversial flight, Mr. Perfect was released from The WWE.
Jazz would be sidelined for the remainder of 2002 with a severe injury shortly after this PPV.
