- The Australian version of the British game show where ten contestants are asked a series of questions that each have more than one correct answer, with a correct answer allowing them to "pass the buck" and stay in the game, while an incorrect answer, failure to answer or repetition of a previous answer means that "the buck stops" with that contestant, and they are eliminated. Through a series of questions and two Memory Moments, the ten contestants are reduced to two, who go head to head by having to answer questions for 60 seconds to decide the winner.—Allister Coots
- The game begins with ten contestants, with the computer choosing one at random to give the first answer to a question that has more than one correct answer (for example, "Give me a former Australian Prime Minister"). If that contestant can give a correct answer, then they "pass the buck", and the next contestant in the line then has to give another correct answer. When a contestant gives an incorrect answer, fails to answer within three seconds of the previous contestant's answer or repeats an answer previously given, then "the buck stops" with that contestant, and they are eliminated, with the remaining contestants moving down a step, and the next contestant in the line having to give the first answer to the next question.
After three questions are asked, the remaining seven contestants face their first Memory Moment, in which they receive eighteen random words, with each contestant then having to recall a different word from the list to stay in the game.
Two more questions are then asked, then the final four contestants receive another question where a correct answer allows the contestant that gives it to choose which contestant to pass the buck to. The three remaining contestants then play a second Memory Moment where the last contestant to pass the buck in the previous question is the first one required to remember a word from the list of eighteen random words given to them.
The two remaining contestants then go head to head by being asked a series of questions in 60 seconds, taking it in turns to come up with correct answers to each question, with the last contestant to pass the buck in the Memory Moment having to come up with the first answer to the first question asked. Each correct answer scores one point for the contestant that gives it, and if the buck stops with a contestant, their opponent has to give the first answer to the next question. Some of the questions asked in this round will only have a limited number of correct answers, and if the two contestants can come up with every possible correct answer between them, then the host will declare it a "lockout", and the contestant who gave the second-last possible answer then has to give the first answer to the next question. When the time runs out, the contestant who has scored more points wins. If the scores are tied at the end of the 60 seconds, then one or more "sudden death" questions are asked to the contestants (more than one question will be required if the first question results in a lockout) until the buck stops with one of them, and the other contestant then wins.
The winning contestant is then shown ten prizes and given 30 seconds to remember as many prizes as they can. Every prize that they can remember they will win. That contestant will return on the next game as the champion, with any contestant who remains the champion for five consecutive nights winning a Hyundai Elantra car and retiring undefeated.
