For most British viewers the original English audio will be the main consideration (thewhitehorses website). The producers have done the best they can manage with the quality of the audio recording available. I was impressed with the extra efforts made to cut in original sound when no English dialogue is being spoken. The German, English subtitled episodes available at (thewhitehorsestvseries1968 website) are slightly longer than the English dubbed version with up to a couple of minutes of extra material. The original German sound is also of superior quality. Several variations of the Jackie Lee theme are included as well as an example of the European theme tune. The English episodes all start and end with the full theme and credit sequences. The German episodes are coupled back to back in pairs with short lengths of end credits cut from the leading episode during the transition to the next.
There are enough differences to make it worth while for White Horses fans to acquiring both English and German versions.
For the original 1960s English version go to the UK webstore (thewhitehorses co uk)
