Keith Harris: [talking about the pantomine he's doing] Most of the children that'll come have heard of Orville, cos we haven't been on the TV for a long time. Ask me why.
Louis Theroux: Why?
Keith Harris: Because we're not chefs.

Recensione in evidenza
Harris is a relatively normal celeb and the show is a little dull as a result
Louis Theroux arranges to spend time with Keith Harris as he prepares for a production of his pantomime Cinderella which he will direct and star in. We follow Keith as he revisits the heights of his success, visits his parents and eventually reads the reviews of his pantomime.
Of this second series of `When Louis Met...' this one was the one I cared the least about. However I was nicely surprised because I was interested in Harris. How can a man who got fame with his hand up a duck and a monkey be all these years later - he must be nuts at least! Happily Harris is perfectly normal and seems very grounded despite being a little bitter. Why aren't you on TV anymore? asks Louis - `because I'm not a chef' comes the reply. Emotions run high when he views old videos at his parents house but it never spills over into total bitterness.
Harris also opens up a little about his wives and why some lasted and some didn't, although it is god to see that his current wife seems perfectly happy. During the pantomime Harris shows how professional he is and even lets Louis have a role (pantomime, gay porn - is there anything he hasn't done?). It is a little ironic that Harris has digs at current entertainers one moment and then fills his show with teenage soap stars the next - but hey ho!
Louis doesn't push to hard and seems a little disappointed that Harris does appear well grounded and normal. Only occasionally does Harris let his guard down, most notably when he sees a bad review in The Big Issue. The two get on well but the relationship is quite plodding at times and never really sparks.
This means that it isn't quite as much fun to watch as you'd hope, although it is still interesting on one level. Overall this is good but is no where near the best of the series - the subject isn't the most interesting as he is quite normal and really there's not much to be looked at or uncovered.
