Warning: Spoilers
I have viewed "Der Schatz von Limbasi" as a series of two films as a boy about 55 years ago in Vienna. I cannot recall much of the content any more, only that a main component was an expedition with a large number of porters through grassy savannas, and encounters with various types of wild animals. Of course there are also some bad guys involved, and a few children who could take part in the action, and a secretive treasure map. The treasure (if I remember correctly, quite small) was finally located in a cave, according to the plot in the immediate vicinity of the Zimbabwe ruins. (The Zimbabwe ruins appear in the film, but no mention of their importance or any explanation of them is given, they just appear in the background). The film ends there quite abruptly, when I had then hoped for a third section dealing with the return travel.

Even if I cannot recall any more details, the film made a lasting impression.
