Warning: Spoilers
Films don't get any cheaper than this made for Canadian television atrocity. In fact, 'film' probably isn't the right word to use, as The Highroller was shot on low budget videotape. Jeff Holec stars as Dave Munroe, a sad sack bank employee who ends up having a drunken night on the tiles after being invited to a ritzy upper class yacht party. Spending the wee hours in the drunk tank, Dave gets a hot tip from the tramp in the adjacent cell: why not use his position at the bank to enrich himself with other people's money? Wow, no one ever thought of THAT before! Soon he's raking in the dough, spending it in Vegas (where the staff rather oddly all sport Canadian accents), and plotting his ultimate getaway. Will he make it, or will the Mounties get their man? Awful by any standard, The Highroller will appeal to no one except--well gosh, I can't imagine it will appeal to ANYONE.
