Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie abruptly left the company after they walked out during this show, citing a disagreement about the Double J singing storyline. The conclusion of which was to be the revelation that The Roadie had secretly been the voice being Jarrett's country single "With My Baby Tonight", thus starting a feud between the two. Jarrett returned to the company later that year in December, whilst The Roadie, aka Double J Jessie James, came back in late-'96 to conclude the singing angle. When Jarrett got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018, he and James (now known as Road Dogg) performed a live duet of "With My Baby Tonight".
First WWF PPV appearance for Hunter Hearst Helmsley a.k.a. "The Game/The Cerebral Assassin/The King of Kings" Triple H.
