Will Be Of But Mild Interest To Most Viewers.

Ronald Reagan, Jr., plays as himself in this 30 minute short film released through HBO and it is rather difficult to perceive what might be its primary purpose, if any, other than as light entertainment; there is a plot of sorts concerning a look-alike of the President's son who has escaped from prison and who may or may not have kidnapped Junior, possibly replacing him as host of a television talk program, and there is also some generally quickly dated satire "dedicated to Amy Carter"; scripted by Penn Jilllette and Eddie Gorodetsky and including a closing credits dialogue between these two as prison guards in an after-life setting. This wispy piece does benefit from a luminous performance by multi-talented Dee Hoty as a harried media administrator.
