I do like the output of Burbank Animation Studios, and The Emperor's New Clothes is no exception. I do prefer Hansel and Gretel and Goldilocks and the Three Bears, which were my first Burbank Animation Studios animations, but I find The Emperor's New Clothes quite good. The animation is a little flat and some scenes felt on the padded side. The dialogue is occasionally corny, but most of it is amusing, same with the characters. The story sticks generally to the basic spirit of the original story, the music is great, the pace is generally crisp and the voice acting is decent, nothing too passive really.
