This was a series that profiled some of the most notorious serial killers of the past. From what I remember of it, it looked at the history of fingerprints, DNA, and whatnot.
It was a great mini-series, and anyone who has an interest in forensics will find it worthwhile. Jerry Orbach makes a great presenter for this series as it is just him basically talking throughout the whole thing.
All in all, this is a series that should be seen. You can learn from it, as it is effective, and gives insight where normal in the classroom education cannot. Nowadays, mini-series' lack in giving you the right information, but with this, I personally felt like I could have an intellectual conversation with someone afterwards.
