Peeling back on the ABC hit sitcom, Three's Company. The show has been in the top ten, until its cancellation in 1984. Behind the scenes was made public before the show's fifth season begun, when co-star Suzanne Somers demanded a hefty raise from $30,000 to $150,000 an episode and 10% of the shows profits. Somers, held the show hostage for three episodes due to false excuses such as a broken rib. As a result, Somers' role was decreased by 60 seconds which she phoned in her roommates from Fresno. Somers' contract was terminated after the completion of the fifth season and, her character Chrissy Snow was never heard or seen again. Jennilee Harrison, took over Somers' place during that season and, was reduced the next year when Priscilla Barnes was introduced as the new roommate.
