Realistic, I think...
Malko Linge9 January 2003
There's not a moment in this show, were you go 'Yeah, right..' I mean, that you can actually think that all this can happen and even does happen. Even the action-scenes are very realistic. Great acting, I specially like Paige Turco as Terri Powell.

This show should NOT BE CANCELED!

With all the swill available on television I can't believe that something this good would not have a great long run. The cast is excellent. The story lines are amazing and very thought provoking. The blend of humor with drama is outstanding.

An excellent production
soniagoenaga255 December 2004
I started watching this TV American production a year ago and now as they are showing it again on TV I have the opportunity of seeing it and Will Patton as well. Although I love this production I must confess that the first thing which caught my attention was Will Patton. His character is so sweet and good-hearted that I fell completely in love with him, apart from the fact that he is an excellent actor who has been playing many and various roles since he was young. In this series Will is not the typical secret agent, who must be cold and with no feelings,to the contrary, he is a really good man who is concerned about the consequences of the actions made by the organization he works for. Will's performance is simply wonderful. On the other hand both, the stories and the other actor's performances are brilliant because they get audience's attention very easily. This is what makes this TV series highly recommended to everyone.

This show is too good to end
GalenDev17 May 2003
I recently received news that this show was cancelled. Now while I understand that the ratings weren't as good as they could have been, I'm going to be honest. It was a terrific show, one deserving of network support and a little nurturing. Will Patton's quiet strength and confidence, Daniel Benzali's antagonizing yet determined demeanor, Richard Speight, Jr.'s outright humor, all of these actors and more weaved the show into one of the most fun and well-written shows on TV. While somewhat formulaic at times, the show was always suspenseful and riveting.

And now CBS wants to end this. People here seem to have a favorable review, so I urge you all. Please write in to CBS and let's try to see this show renewed. Thank you very much.

The best thing on Television

I absolutely love this show. I never miss it. CBS definitely has a winner here. I anxiously wait each week to see what is going to happen next. The show has excellent writing, and an incredible cast. My two favorite characters are Stiles and Terri, I am hoping in the third season they will get this rocky relationship on its way.

Excellent and believable

Although on a different network I would definitely put this show on equal footing with 24 on Fox. Very good, and very believable show.

I would say the only difference in the two is that 24 is shown in "real time" whereas The Agency is packed into an hour show.

Great, Great Show

I've read that this show is being cancelled, when i see this, it's like my heart just dropped to the bottom of my feet. This is my favorite show, and I like a lot of shows. This is the only show that got me counting 12 more hours, 11 more hours, and so on on Saturday mornings. It's just going to break my heart if it goes away. I checked the cbs' primetime schedule for the fall of 2003-2004, and The Agency is not there. So all I can do is hope that it comes at 7:00 or 11:00 pm because these times are not on the schedule. Also, if this show isn't getting enough ratings, it's because it doesn't have enough publicity. If only more people know about it, and see it just once, they'll be glued to it.

One of the best shows of the season
dede-1210 May 2002
This show started out slow, but boy has it gathered speed. I look forward to watching it weekly. Adding Beau Bridges was a great move. I only hope that I misread (from early in the Fall) that it had been cancelled. The thing about this show is how it actually makes you wonder, "Does OUR CIA do anything like this?"

Great Show
It seems like TV executives don't use the quality of a show to determine whether to keep it on the air, and this was one of the best in the last 30 years. But look, the cancelled Star Trek, and it has gone on to produce over a half dozen full length movies, and countless spinoff series, all of which are being watched somewhere at this time.

This is a great show, with excellent acting of believable characters and plots of stories that could very well have been true. Watch it if you can find it.

Warning: Spoilers
The US Gov & the CIA consistently tried to disrupt or influence elections or overthrow foreign governments. They helped Fidel Castro to fund the 26th of July Movement that overthrew Batista. In VietNam Ngô Dình Diem in was assassinated during a CIA-backed coup d'état. As to Castro, CIA really tried to get him assassinated and (BOY!!!) did they fail big time shorty... Leaked Lyndon B. Johnson emails revealed that Castro had over 600 assassination attempts by CIA in 15 years.

The same group of sicarios working for and with the CIA, who were involved in trying to kill Castro after they put him in power and who eventually killed Ernesto Guevara even though they had trained him, were the same ones that assassinated Martin Luther King, JFK and Robert FK. Shall we spell out their names?

E Howard Hunt Frank Sturgis Bernard Barker,

all members of the CIA assasination team tasked w/killing Fidel Castro, were in Dallas the day JFK was assassinated.
