Debbie Reynolds and Kimberly J. Brown in Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001)

Goofs

Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge

Edit

Continuity

When Aggie and Marnie are walking when they first get to Halloweentown, the grandma's arm goes from being locked into Marnie's arm to being free, to being locked in with Marnie's arm again.
After Kal casts his spell at the party, numerous extras who should have been affected by the spell are shown as normal.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

When the spell Kalabar uses is describe they say it works on humans to make them into the creature they insult. However, the spell still affects Gwen (who is a witch) but not the kids.

CORRECTION: Despite her already being a witch, she was wearing a Halloween mask which caused the spell to work on her. it didn't work on Dylan or Sophie because they weren't wearing costumes that would have been effected by the creature spell. Similar to another mistake on here, there were several other humans at the dance that the spell didn't work on due to the type of costume they were wearing.
The title of the movie spells Kalabar with a "K", but the ending credits spells it with a "C".

Revealing mistakes

Luke looks completely different as a goblin than he did at the end of the first movie.
After Marnie tells Dylan his password, she gives the headphone to her grandmother to chase after Luke. When she reaches Luke, Marnie has the headphone to talk to Dylan while her grandmother is still in the same spot that she was in.

Crew or equipment visible

After Marnie uses the time-line to go back to the present and comes flying out of the pile of socks, there are two men in white that appear on the far left of the screen, as they are falling to the ground.

Plot holes

In the first movie, Aggie said that 2 hours in the mortal world can be 2 days or 2 weeks in Halloweentown. In this movie, 4 hours in the mortal world became 4 hours in Halloweentown.

Character error

At the 36:58 mark as Blu Mankuma(Gort) turns his head to the right you can see a spot on his neck where the grey makeup isn't applied.
