These short stories were among the few which were made by good directors of the silver screen :Claude Chabrol which was better then than in his latter "works" ,Yves Boisset. In one of his stories,he cast again Michel Duchaussoy and Caroline Cellier who were the two stars of his excellent "Que la bête meure" ("The Beast Must Die" ,1969) But the one I remember best is the story of the young lad who is invited by the local aristocracy and bourgeoisie for a hunt.An update of "the most dangerous game" it is a really unusual story.
The seventies were not much of a good time for French telly. But at the time, these stories were hailed as a return to form.
