- It was revealed that Ebony Scrooge had a very abusive childhood. Ebony and her brother were taken away by child welfare which the scene can be very emotional and it was how she became the person she is. The ghost of Marli Jacob can be very frightening to young children. The Ghost of Christmas Future is very frightening and can be a little too much for young children to watch.
