Victoria & Albert (2001)

Goofs

Victoria & Albert

Edit

Continuity

The older Queen Victoria (Joyce Redman) has blue eyes, while younger Queen Victoria (Victoria Hamilton) has dark eyes.

Factual errors

In the part 1 closing credits, Penelope Wilton is misspelled "Penelope Winton". (She is named correctly in the opening and part 2 closing credits.)
In the part 2 opening credits, Michael Siberry is misspelled "Michael Sibbery". (He is named correctly in the closing credits.)

Anachronisms

At a state occasion prior to Victoria's marriage the orchestra is playing music from Strauss's operetta 'Die Fledermaus' which would not be written until many years later in 1874.

Character error

At the King's birthday party, Lady Henrietta Standish is seated almost directly opposite Princess Victoria. A most unlike position for a lady-in-waiting.
