Bhanumati looks resplendent in her silks , jewellery and velvets. Its not clear what her husband does but she is always decked up .. she looks much grander than the heroine . Jagapathy was a top star when this movie was made . He is delightful as a groom's friend , trying to hide his flaws Lakshmi's silent lover torn between his own loyalty and his love . The groom Viren is perfect for the role of a rich play boy . Over all a fine movie . Its a remake of Hindi Pardes .
