Actors credited on the VHS tape, but not included in the IMDb or movies.go listings are Tevon Boal, Nakia Burisse, George Blaine, Summer Simmons, Violet Jones, Monique Wildee and Desi Bryant. Perhaps a few of them or Kimani, Kevin or Damon have SAG cards, but the production values here fall in the mid-range for home movies. The punches in fights are as clumsily pulled as in any 1940s singing cowboy flick; the overly-complex plotting does nothing to lessen the utter predictability of what will happen next; perhaps the first clue to what's in store for the potential viewer is that the movie box said this mishmash lasts "80 minutes" while "60 minutes" is printed on the cassette itself (the actual running time is 1:09:34.17).

This is one of the best movies I have seen. A great plot and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Produced in the late 90's it is one of the first Black films ( in the era of Spike Lee and Robert Townnsend) The subject matter was very new at the time of production which adds to the creative genius of the producers. The acting is excellent and the script is intelligent and well executed. Viewers would not be disappointed after watching this film. I do not know why the other reviews are low, but for those over 18, they will enjoy the sophisticated plot and great acting. This film won Best Picture in the Black film makers hall of fame and stars Kevin Mambo who is an emmy award winning actor.

Correction..not Violet Jones..but Violet Jonas

Thanks for the info on the rest of the cast? How did you know? Correct spelling for Violet is actually Violet Jonas. She is the girl in the very beginning of the movie. She is the one who originally gets cheated on if anyone has actually seen this movie. She is the girl who is wearing all white. There doesn't seem to be many comments on this movie. Does anyone know where this movie can be rented or purchased? And does anyone know if Tim Story will be directing anytime soon? His IMDb page doesn't show any future projects. I have never seen the whole movie just the beginning and it was a bootleg. Anybody have any opinions on this movie?
