In late-1950s Athens, somewhere in a quiet neighbourhood of Kipseli that is undergoing modernisation, the big sister, Rallou, and her twin brothers have invented a thrilling but delicate game. In complete secrecy, the siblings sneak in the dank and dusty basement of their old bourgeois house where their grandfather used to run a distillery, to perform a strange rite, as damaging rumours and a private scandal permeate the walls of the abandoned and decrepit place. But, what happened there; moreover, how important is the last and only batch of the rare "Dead Liqueur" to the experimenting adolescents' budding sexuality?
